Sandra Ruth Frazier, 57, of Rutherfordton, N.C., died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009, at Hospice House.

A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the Rev. Charlie William Blackwell and the late Annie Ruth Robertson Blackwell. She was an outpatient registrar at Rutherford Hospital, a member of Gilkey Baptist Church and attended Piney Knob Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Frazier.

Surviving are a son, Shawn Frazier of Gilkey, N.C.; a sister, Tammie Blackwell Wilson of Rutherfordton; and her father and his wife, the Rev. Charlie and Mary Ann Forbes Blackwell of Gilkey.

Services will be held Friday, Nov. 13, at 11 a.m. at Piney Knob Baptist Church with the Revs. Stephen Cooper and Charlie Blackwell officiating. Concluding services will be held at 1:30 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 12, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Crowe’s Mortuary in Rutherfordton.
