Gaffney boys’ basketball coach Mark Huff saw some things he liked after Tuesday’s initial scrimmage against twotime defending state champ Southside.

“I thought we ran our motion sets well,” Huff said.

The teams played nine quarters.

Josh Corry shot the ball well from the perimeter while Chase Smith was the team’s best scorer in the post, according to Huff.
