Nov. 28 last day to register

The last day to register to vote for the Cherokee County Council District 7 election to be held Dec. 29, 2009, is Saturday, Nov. 28, at noon.

If you are already registered but need to make a change of address, visit the Voter Registration office to change your address so that you can be placed in your proper voting precinct before the Nov. 28 deadline. Only those residents residing in Cherokee County District will be eligible to vote in this election.

The Voter Registration office is located at 1434 N. Limestone St., inside Peachtree Centre, first floor, room 1008. The telephone number is 487-2563. The office will be closed Nov. 26-27 for the Thanksgiving holiday but will be open Saturday, Nov. 28, from 9 a.m.-noon.
