Almost 100 employees volunteered over 36 hours of their time to help with needed projects.

“It was a tremendous help for Duke Energy to supply landscaping items we needed and then to actually do the work,” said Janice Ford, principal at Draytonville Elementary School. “The new mulch and shrubbery made a big difference in the way the school looks and everyone really appreciates all their hard work.”

Draytonville Elementary has 310 students in grades 4K-5th.

Melissa Green, director of Iron City Ministries, kept employees of Milliken busy for two days.
