Charles Garrett Putnam, 46, of 102 Harrison St., passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009.

Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late John Thomas Putnam and Catherine Hall Putnam. He was formerly employed by The Timken Company and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by a brother, John Putnam of Gaffney; a niece, Ashley Putnam; two nephews, Chris Putnam and Trey Putnam; three aunts, Louise Pruitt, Joann Ramsey and Sue Phillips; and an uncle, Frankie Putnam.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 25, at 2 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby L. Blakely officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the services.
