Woman airlifted after being injured in four-wheeler accident
The Regional One helicopter from Spartanburg Regional Medical Center was dispatched to the Corinth community Thanksgiving afternoon to transport a 19-year-old woman for medical treatment following a four-wheeler accident on Star Ridge Road.
The name and condition of the woman weren't immediately available Thursday afternoon. The accident occurred at about 2:45 p.m.
Firefighters from the Corinth Volunteer Fire Department and paramedics from Upstate Carolina Medical Center immediately responded to the scene while a second group of firefighters responded to Corinth Elementary School to set up a landing zone for the helicopter.
