Couple wed Sept. 25 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
MR. AND MRS. EDDIE CHRISTOPHER ALLISON
Heather Nicole Rainey of San Diego, Calif., and Eddie Christopher Allison of Columbus, Ind., were married Sept. 25, 2009, at 4 p.m. at Chalet Mountain Wedding Chapel in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
After a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, the couple are making their home in Columbus, Ind.
The bride is the daughter of Charlie Franklin, Linda Franklin, Judy Luttrell and the late Johnny Luttrell. Her grandparents are Paul and Mardell Remick of Brownburg, Ind. She received a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Indianapolis.
The groom is the son of Eddie Dean and Barbara Allison of Blacksburg. His grandparents are Mary Allison, Alma Parris, the late Leory Allison and the late James Parris. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and is a NASCAR tech in Mooresville, N.C.
Following the ceremony, an onsite buffet reception was held utilizing a hand-picked mixture of musical favorites from the 80s and 90s.
Given in marriage by her father, Charlie Franklin, the bride was attended by her best friend, Christy Tibbitts, of Pensacola, Fla., as maid of honor. Shalee Petty, sister of the bride, of Indianapolis, Ind., was bridesmaid. Camryn Allison Wood of Yorktown, Va., niece of the groom, was the flower girl.
Eddie Dean Allison was his son's best man and the groom's brother, Marcus Allison, of Gaffney was groomsman.
In honor of the couple, a brunch was served for the wedding party in Gatlinburg by the groom's parents.
