Clyde (Buck) Laughlin

Clyde (Buck) Tillman Laughlin, 72, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009.

Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Mary Keller Laughlin and son of the late Charles Tillman Laughlin and Ruby Beheler Laughlin. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, retired from Overnite and of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his wife, surviving are three daughters, Debra Farmer, Susan Martin, both of Gaffney, and Barbara Wright of Blacksburg; a brother, James Frank Laughlin; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Monday, Nov. 30, from 1-2 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home. Graveside services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. in Frederick Memorial Gardens with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.

The family is at the home of Debra Farmer, 121 Cherokee Ridge Drive, and Mary Laughlin, 228 Monroe St.
