Jerome Allen "Jason" Lipscomb Sr., 48, of 82 Carpenter St., Salem, N.J., husband of Cassie Lipscomb of Gaffney, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at South Jersey Healthcare Center in Vinland, N.J.

Son of Ruby Watts Lipscomb of Salem and the late Richard Edward Lipscomb, he was born Sept. 12, 1961, in Salem. He was a member of Haven United Methodist Church in Quinton, N.J., and was owner and operator of Lipscomb's Lawn Service.

Also surviving are a daughter, Lynett Taylor of Salem; four sons, Jerome Allen Lipscomb Jr., John Lipscomb, both of Gaffney, Jerome A. Lipscomb Taylor and Ryan Taylor, both of Salem; five brothers, Victor Lipscomb, Richard Lipscomb Jr., Chris Lipscomb, all of Salem, Dr. Larry Lipscomb of Iowa and Ronald Watkins of Columbia; and nine grandchildren.
