Limestone fall in overtime to Brevard for first loss of season
The Limestone College men’s basketball team was edged by Brevard College 75-73 in overtime on Saturday afternoon at the Boshamer Gymnasium.
The Saints, who suffered their first loss of the season, stand at 3-1 overall.
The contest was close with 15 lead changes during the game. The Saints had the 27-25 lead at the half.
Jarrell Douglass led Limestone with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He also posted a block and an assist. Stewart Clark scored 15 points, pulled down 8 rebounds, and tallied 4 assists for Limestone.
Tyron Evans and Danny Friend each scored 11 points for the Saints.
