HENRY TRANSOU PRACTICE FACILITY
The Henry Transou Practice Facility at Cherokee National Golf and Recreation club officially opened Tuesday, December 1 with Transou's widow, Pete, making the first putt on the 5,000 sq. ft. putting green, paid for with proceeds from the Henry Transou Memorial Tournament which is held annually in his honor. Transou was the longtime PGA professional at the club.
