 About $820 in property was reported stolen from a Goucher Green Bethel Road home following the recent discovery of a burglary.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone forced open a window to gain entry to a home in the 1100 block between Oct. 20 and Nov. 27. The burglar(s) took a computer, a microwave oven, a stereo, a camera and video games.

 About $2,000 in firearms were reported stolen from a Copper Street home.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, a 27- year-old man allegedly entered the residence in the 500 block between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 24 and took a semi-automatic .45-caliber Colt pistol, a single-action .45-caliber Colt pistol, a semiautomatic .25-caliber pistol, and a semi-automatic .32-caliber Smith & Wesson pistol. A suspect was listed but no arrest was reported by police.

 A computer printer was reported stolen following a vehicle break-in on Oakview Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone gained entry to a vehicle parked in the 200 block between Nov. 22 and Nov. 23 and took an HP-brand Deskjet 450 printer valued at $150.

 A Vestas Road homeowner reported to police the theft of a power meter box.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone took the Duke Energy-owned power meter box from a home in the 100 block between Nov. 24 and Nov. 27.

The meter box is valued at $250.

 More than $7,000 in guns and property were reported stolen from a Gardner Road home following an overnight burglary.

According to a police report, the resident of the home in the 300 block allegedly found a 23-yearold man inside his residence. After the 23-yearold man left, about $7,000 in guns, $500 in ammunition and a $200 cell phone were discovered missing.

Police listed the time of the incident as between 11:45 p.m. Nov. 28 and 1 a.m. Nov. 29.

A suspect’s name was listed but no arrest was reported.

 A pit bull puppy was reported stolen from a Lockhart Lane residence Nov. 28.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, a female pit bull puppy described as fawn blue in color with white markings, was taken from a property in the 100 block between 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

The owner of the dog said a Blacksburg man had been inquiring about the purchase of that particular puppy and was supposed to drop off payment the day the puppy went missing.

The puppy is valued at $200.

 A burglar or burglars made off with a 42- inch plasma television and other property during a Nov. 30 break-in on Iris Lane.

According to the Gaffney Police Department, someone kicked in the door to a home in the 100 block between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. and took the Samsungbrand television and also a First Piedmont Federal Savings & Loan checkbook and four sets of cuff links.

The property is valued at more than $2,250.

 A moped was reported stolen from a Beech Street property.

According to the Gaffney Police Department, a bright pink Velocity 50 cc moped was taken from the 300 block between Nov. 16 and Nov. 26.

The moped is valued at $700.

According to the police report, the owner said this was the second time the moped had been stolen.

 About $950 in property was reported stolen after some area students returned home from Thanksgiving break and discovered a burglary.

According to the Gaffney Police Department, the returning students discovered on Nov. 29 that someone had broken into the residence in the 100 block of Hampton Avenue.

Missing from the residence were a Sony flat screen television, miscellaneous clothing, textbooks and a surround sound system.

The break-in occurred between noon Nov. 23 and 6:30 p.m. Nov. 29.

 About $200 in vandalism damage was reported to a vehicle parked on Alma Road recently.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriffs Office, someone scratched the hood of a vehicle with an unknown object and then used red lipstick to scrawl a slur on the vehicle.

 The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported a break-in on Wilkins Way in Cowpens.

According to police, someone forced entry to a home in the 100 block, causing about $100 in damage, between 4 p.m. Nov. 29 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30.

Nothing appeared missing from the home.

 An all-terrain vehicle and power generator were stolen from a Lake Tree Road property between Nov. 27 and Nov. 28.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, a thief or thieves took a camouflage colored 110 cc allterrain vehicle and a 3,500 watt Craftsman generator from a property in the 200 block.

They are valued at $1,800.

 About $3,500 in malicious damage was reported in the 100 block of Martin Lane after someone vandalized two vehicles parked outside an apartment complex.

Between noon Nov. 28 and 9 a.m. Nov. 29, the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said someone three three eggs at a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria and also poured sugar in the gas tank.

During approximately the same time span, a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria parked a short distance away was vandalized with spray paint.

 A handgun was reported stolen from a vehicle parked on West Oneal Street.

According to the Gaffney Police Department, someone entered a vehicle parked in the 100 block between 8 p.m. Nov. 27 and 6 p.m. Nov. 28 and took a .40- caliber Glock Model 22 from the vehicle’s dashboard.

The gun is valued at $500.
