Versie Lee Littlejohn, 60, of 206 W. Fairview Ave., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at her residence.

Daughter of the late Nesbitt Littlejohn and the late Georgia M. Allen Littlejohn, she was born April 4, 1949, in Cherokee County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Smith; a brother, Paul Littlejohn; and a granddaughter, Tamelia Vershae Littlejohn.

Ms. Littlejohn was a member of White Plains Baptist Church and a 1969 graduate of Gaffney High School. She was employed by Jet Cleaners on Wilkinsville Highway.

Surviving are two sons, Craig Littlejohn of Gaffney and Telly Littlejohn of the home; a sister, Sugarmine Sarratt of Gaffney; two brothers, Wilbert Littlejohn and Matthew Littlejohn, both of Gaffney; three grandchildren; and a host of other nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at 2 p.m. at White Plains Baptist Church with the Rev. James Patton Jr. and Minister Juanita Dewberry officiating. Interment will follow in Limestone Cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

The family is at the residence.
