COWPENS – Charles Albert Russell, 61, of 1104 Bunche Lane, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at 1:35 p.m. at his residence.

Son of the late Leroy Russell and the late Gladys Wilkins Russell, he was born July 27, 1948, in Spartanburg.

He is survived by two sisters, Christable B. Beeazeala of Atlanta, Ga., and Doris Anderson of Cowpens; a brother, Willie Lee Russell of Cowpens; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

The family is at the home of his sister, Doris Anderson, 1114 Bunche Lane.
