SPARTANBURG – Cheryl Lynn Wilkins Wright, 53, of 1174 White Plains Road, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, she was the wife of Steve (Tight) Wright and daughter of G.R. (Chick) Wilkins and Dorothy (Dot) Hammett Wilkins of Cowpens. Mrs. Wright was cafeteria manager at Pacolet Elementary School and a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Cowpens.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Cassidy Nichols and husband, Jody, of Gaffney and Patricia Trent and husband, Jamey, of Greenwood; a brother, Monte Wilkins and wife, Mary, of Cowpens; eight grandchildren, Paige Nichols, Kennedy Nichols, Rylee Nichols, Jamey Lee Trent, Jacob Trent, Sarrah Trent, Hannah Trent and Tristan Trent; and a special niece, Carmen Wilkins.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, Jan. 14, at 4:30 p.m. in Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Roye Lyn Kulik and Angelia Price officiating. The family will receive friends in the chapel immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 5425 N. Main St., Cowpens, SC 29330.

The family will be at their respective homes.
