Services for Ruby Littlejohn Lipscomb, 89, of 824 S. Johnson St., widow of I.M. Lipscomb, will be held today at 2 p.m. at Philadelphia Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Burnside, Lionel Dawkins, James Patton Jr. and Minister Cathy Neal officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Body in the church at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church, P.O. Box 276, Gaffney, SC 29342.

The family is at the residence.

Services for Roy Dean Rainey, 68, of Craigwood Apartments, Apt. 111-B, son of the late Arvin Corry and the late Janie Elizabeth Rainey, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Freddy Davidson, Lawrence Davidson, Wilbert Oglesby and C.A. Wallace officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery with military honors. Body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m

The family is at the home of his daughter, Barbara Peeler, 420 Colonial Ave.
