Ready for some dessert?
Question: What could be better than a cup of coffee and a homemade dessert?
Answer: When the money you pay for it goes to a good cause.
The 3rd Annual Dessert Theatre will be held Sunday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Life Center with proceeds going to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
In a time when athletes are being recognized as role models, we want to support the workin progress through FCA.
Pierre’ Salmon, Director of FCA, will give a brief presentation of the organization’s purpose and goals for Cherokee County.
Coffee and homemade desserts will be served during an evening filled with entertainment, including music by Life Song, Salmon, and a surprise ensemble which you don’t want to miss.
As a final event of the evening, additional homemade desserts will be auctioned. “No-sugaradded” desserts will be available.
First Baptist Church Women’s Missionary Union and FCA are sponsors. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased in the church office, or from members of FBC WMU and FCA. Seats are limited. Call 489-6064 for more information or to purchase tickets.
