James Gregory tickets now available online
Tickets to the James Gregory comedy show “Beef Stew for the Brain to Fight Senior Hunger” can now be purchased online by going to www.broadriverelectric. com.
The show, which is being presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative, will bring the iconic comedian to its auditorium on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. for his first ever public performance in Cherokee County.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 on the day of the show. A discount rate for a group of 10 is available for $180. A $2.00 convenience fee will be added to all online transactions. Online ticket buyers can print their tickets for an additional charge of 50-cents per transaction or pick up their tickets at willcall at no additional charge.
Tickets can also be purchased at locations throughout the Upstate, including Broad River Electric offices in Gaffney (811 Hamrick St.) and Boiling Springs (5535 Highway 9), the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce office (225 S. Limestone St. in Gaffney), Arthur State Bank in Union (100 East Main Street), Union Oil Mills Farm & Garden (421 N Pinckney Street, Union), Mobile Meals of Spartanburg headquarters (419 East Main Street), and Kirby’s Flowers and Gifts in Blacksburg (421 N Pinckney Street).

The event will raise funds for senior hunger charities in Cherokee, Spartanburg and Union Counties. Proceeds will go to Meals on Wheels of Cherokee County, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Meals on Wheels of Union, and the Union County Council on Aging. All four provide meals to nearly 2,700 citizens who are unable to provide their own.
