PET PORTRAITS — CAVA had a special treat for its members on March 9 as notable artist Diane Balister came from her home in Mount Pleasant to give a live teaching demonstration on animal portraiture. She has traveled extensively in her life; her portraits and paintings are displayed in homes in the Charleston area, throughout the U.S. and Europe. Her works can be seen in l'On at Sweet Olive Garden, online at www.balister.com/ART and in her studio by appointment.
