Rev. Charles Sullivan

GREER – The Rev. Charles N. Sullivan, 94, of husband of Colia E. Sullivan, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010, at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Son of the late Robert Burns and Birnie Sullivan,

he was a

native of Greer

and a former pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Greer and Gowdyesville Baptist Church in Gaffney. Rev. Sullivan was a retired teacher in the Cherokee County Schools, having taught at Limestone Elementary School. He was a United States Army veteran.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Marva Williams, Belinda Floyd, both of Greer, and Charlene Davis of Charlotte; and a host of other relatives.

Services will be held Friday, March 12, at 2 p.m. at Maple Creek Baptist Church, 609 S. Main St., Greer. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with dove release.
