Summer hoop league signup

Gamecock Club to meet March 24
The Spartanburg/Cherokee Gamecock Club will have its spring meeting on Wed., March 24 at the Marriott in Spartanburg. Steve Spurrier will be among the speakers. The dinner begins at 6 p.m.

Indians-BS game rescheduled
Rain postponed the Gaffney- Bolling Springs baseball game on Thursday. The game will be played today at 6 p.m. at Commissioners Field.
Spring flag football begins signups
The “7 on 7” adult spring flag football league will begin on March 14. Entry fee will be $200 and cash prize will be awarded. Contact “Dawk” for more info at 864-425-1852.
Indians golfers 4th after opening round
The Gaffney High golf team is four shots back after the first round of the Capitol City Classic on Thursday.
The Indians shot a 317 - four shots back of co-leaders Dorman and St. James.
Phillip Rogers continued his hot play with a 77, tying teammate Trey Taylor's opening round score.
Adam Goins had an 81 and E.J. Blanton had an 82 for the Indians.
The final round will begin at 9 a.m. today.
