Lauren Ashley Motts and C. Brett Clary Lauren Ashley Motts and C. Brett Clary Motts – Clary

Keith Motts of Gaffney and Bryan and Pauline Hudson of Blacksburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ashley Motts, to Christopher Brett Clary of Gaffney.

Miss Motts is the granddaughter of Ken and Agnes Harrill of Gaffney and the late Harold and Tess Motts. She graduated in 2005 from Gaffney High School and received an Associates degree in Accounting from Spartanburg Community College. She is employed by the City of Gaffney.

Mr. Clary is the son of Alan and Karen Moss of Gaffney and grandson of Barbara Nance of Gaffney and Jerry and Charlene Nance of Union. He graduated in 2003 from Gaffney High School and is a lineman with the Gaffney Board of Public Works.

A May 1 wedding is planned at New Harvest Church of God.

Hughey – Ramsey

Billy Gene Ramsey and Katie Elizabeth Hughey Billy Gene Ramsey and Katie Elizabeth Hughey Thomas Hughey of Gaffney announces the engagement of his daughter, Katie Elizabeth, to Billy Gene Ramsey of Gaffney.

Miss Hughey is also the daughter of the late Rita Ruppe. A 2007 graduate of Gaffney High School, she is employed by RiteAid.

Mr. Ramsey is the son of Edward and Shirley Ramsey of Gaffney. A graduate of Gaffney High School, he is self-employed. A December 23 wedding is planned.

Weeks – Wynn

Crystal Weeks of Boiling Springs and Douglas Wynn of Spartanburg will be married on Saturday, July 24, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Cowpens.

Miss Weeks is the daughter of Vanessa Oglesby- Weeks of Cowpens and the late Charles William Weeks. Her grandparents are Dorothy Oglesby of Cowpens and the late Wyatt Oglesby and Samuel and Lenora Weeks of Gaffney. A graduate of Livingstone College with a B.S. degree in Biology, she is employed by Spartanburg Regional Hospital System as a lab assistant.

Crystal Weeks and Douglas Wynn Crystal Weeks and Douglas Wynn Mr. Wynn is the son of James and Kathleen Wynn of Spartanburg and grandson of the late Johnny and Kathleen Lee and the late James and Annie Mae Wynn. A graduate of Hampton University with a B.A. degree in Secondary Education, he is employed by Spartanburg District 7.
