S.C. State Senator Mick Mulvaney’s congressional campaign today announced its County Leadership Team. Representative Steve Moss, will chair Mulvaney’s Cherokee County organization. Mulvaney is running for the 5th District Congressional seat currently held by Democrat John Spratt.

“It’s time to send a representative to Washington that represents our values, not liberal democrats,” said Representative Moss. “I’ve had the honor of working with Senator Mulvaney in Columbia and know he’s a strong conservative and will make a great congressman who will represent us, not special interests in DC.”

Senator Mulvaney said he was humbled by the broad support he has received from leaders across the 5th District. “This will be a difficult campaign,” Mulvaney said. “But with leaders like Steve Moss, who understand how to take our message to every corner of their communities, I’m confident voters are ready to send John Spratt home next November.”
