GAFFNEY A TOURIST DESTINATION – Tourists are increasingly discovering Gaffney's many destinations as indicated by this March 10 visit by the Dallas Baptist Church seniors from Dallas, N.C. On a day trip, the group toured the Cherokee County History and Arts Museum and the Michael Gaffney Cabin. They also did some shopping at Hamrick's, Prime Outlets and Rug & Home, as well as enjoying lunch in town. More and more groups are taking day trips to Gaffney, generating much-needed tax dollars in our local economy. The museum has recently been featured as a Day Trip Destination in the Sandlapper, Boiling Springs Today and Spartanburg Today magazines.
