The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is once again seeking the public’s assistance in a case involving damage to pricey air conditioning and heating equipment.

On Thursday afternoon, the sheriff’s office released security camera footage of a vehicle and people spotted in the parking lot of Blakely Funeral Home.

According to a police report, someone damaged three Bryant heat pumps outside the funeral home between 7 p.m. March 14 and 7 a.m. March 15 by cutting through the copper tubing. Damage estimates exceeded $750.

Anyone with information about the vehicle seen in the security camera footage, or the incident, is asked to contact Det. Daniel Ward at the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, (864) 489-4722, extension 120.
