Leah O’Fair swept the 100, 200 and 400 meter races and teamed with Tamithia McGill, Patricia Sullivan and Gigi Chamberlain to lead the Gaffney girls’ track team to a 100-20 win over Crest and a 89-30 victory over York in a tri-meet Tuesday at Gaffney High.

Lacey Gardner won the shot put and long jump for the Lady Indians.

In the boys’ competition, Joe Craig eclipsed the state record by twotenths of a second in the 200 meters with a time of 21.2.

He also won the 100 meters and was part of the winning 4x100 firstplace relay team.

Gaffney’s Austin Steagall won the 1 and 2 mile races and Denard Smith won the long jump.
