Grateful for advertising representative’s vigilance in verifying motorcycle ad
Dear Ms. (advertising representative Vici) Jordan:
I just wanted to follow up with you regarding our conversation last Friday, March 5, when you called to verify an ad that was being placed for a Ducati motorcycle.
We were stunned to learn that someone had gained access to my husband’s debit card information, his name and our home address. In fact, when I checked the bank statements, I found that ads had been placed in four newspapers in South Carolina, all in different counties. You were the only representative to contact us.
I have no idea how long it would have taken to realize these charges were unauthorized, and because they were each for relatively small amounts, they passed “under the wire” of our bank’s fraud department.
I know your conscientiousness saved us hundreds of dollars, and while you may think you were just doing your job, as far as we are concerned, you have gone above and beyond the call.
Know that you really made a difference in our lives today. We will do our best to pay it forward!
Sincerely,
Ed & Tara Miller
Fort Mill, S.C.
