 A vandal or vandals damaged nine mail boxes on Pierce Lane and Woods Cross Road.

According to a Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office report, the damage occurred between 10 p.m. June 4 and 1 a.m. June 5.

There was no immediate cost estimate on the damage.

 More than $4,000 in property was reported stolen following a recent burglary on Fortenberry Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone forced entry to a home in the 100 block between May 29 and June 4 and took $1,500 in assorted jewelry, $2,500 in assorted tools, $500 in antique brass and $75 in medications.

 A John Deere mower and table saw were reported stolen following the burglary of a storage building on Draytonville Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone removed the hinges to gain entry to the storage building in the 100 block between May 27 and June 4.

The stolen John Deere LT 100 mower and Ryobi table saw were valued at a combined $1,600.

 More than $1,300 in property was reported stolen following a burglary on Bridges Farm Road.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported someone forced entry to a home in the 100 block between June 2 and June 4 and took a television, a DVD player and clothing.
