Limestone coach to host hoop camp Limestone College men's basketball coach Brandon Scott will hold his Basketball Academy on June 7-11 for boys and girls ages 7 to 13.

The day-long sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.

The sessions will feature skill development, contests and games.

The cost is $110.

Gamecock Club

tourney July 17

The Cherokee County Gamecock Club will hold its golf tournament on Saturday, July 17, at the Gaffney Country Club with tee off time at 9 a.m.

The event's special guests will be offensive line coach, Shawn Elliott, Gamecock Club Director Patrick McFarland and Assistant Gamecock Club Director and former basketball player Aaron Lucas.

The tournament will be a captain 's choice with an entry fee of $200 per team. Awards will be for first and second place net score. Meals and beverages will be provided.

GHS Softball Camp

will run June 14-17

The Gaffney Indian Softball Camp will begin Monday, June 14 through Thursday, June 17 from 9 a.m. until noon at Wayne Fuller Field.

Current and former Gaffney High softbball players, along with GHS assistant coach Dave Reams will serve as instructors.

Cost of the camp is $60. All campers will receive a Tshirt.
