NEWBERRY – You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy some incredible eats in downtown Newberry on Friday, June 18, from 5-7:30 p.m. when “A Taste of Newberry” gets under way at Memorial Park. Along with the tempting aromas, live music will fill the air.

The tastes are bite-sized, so you can try them all, and they highlight the best of Newberry’s restaurants.

Enjoy tastes of wine while trying to decide between Barbecue Shrimp, Beef Wellington or Prime Rib. Pick up a side of Fried Pickles or Pasta Salad and quench your thirst with a variety of exotic beers.

Relax with dessert and sweet tea at one of the dining tables set up around the Opera House while listening to music provided by Doug and Bunny Williams.

Dollar tickets will be sold on the square and redeemable for ‘tastes’ from Steven W’s Bistro, Delamaters, Grill on Main, Ronnie’s Restaurant, The Palms and FuSion – The Flying Pie and Pharaoh’s Pizza – Jeze Belles, Pops, Zestos and more.

There is plenty of free parking and no admission fee.
