 About $20 in change was reported stolen following the discovery of a burglary on Draytonville Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone busted a window to gain entry to a home in the 300 block between June 3 and June 4.

Rolled up change was the only thing reported missing.

 A thief or thieves stole a stun gun and a satellite navigation unit from a car on Concord Road.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported someone entered a car in the 700 block between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. June 4 and took a Taser stun gun and a Garmin GPS unit valued at a combined $350.

 A vandal or vandals broke the windshields of two vehicles in the 3600 block of Union Highway on June 5.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, someone stood on the hoods of a a 2004 Mustang and 1983 Toyota truck and broke the windshields between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m.

 About $500 in toolboxes were stolen from a trailer parked at the Wilco Travel Plaza on East Cherokee Street in Blacksburg.

The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office reported someone entered the trailer, owned by the J.B. Hunt trucking company, between 9:15 p.m. June 4 and 7 a.m. June 5 and took four toolboxes.

 A 49-year-old West Buford Street man was charged in arrest warrants with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, kidnapping and resisting arrest following a Gaffney Police Department investigation into a June 4 incident.

 According to a police report, an officer was dispatched to the 800 block June 4 at 2:27 a.m. but no one would answer the door and 911 could not make contact with the caller who requested police.

Other officers arrived and police said they could hear muffled voices coming from inside, but still no one would answer the door despite five minutes of repeated knocking.

Police said in the report they ultimately made a decision to force entry to the home and they found Nathan Eric Littlejohn and a woman in a bedroom.

The woman told police she was being held against her will and that Littlejohn had covered her mouth with his hand to prevent her from calling out, according to the report. When an officer attempted to escort Littlejohn outside, he allegedly stated, "I'm not going to jail" and ran from the officer.

The woman told police Littlejohn had held a knife to her and threatened to cut off her hair.

A large butcher knife was found under a mattress in the bedroom, according to the report.

 A piece of farm machinery was damaged during an apparent theft attempt on Battleground Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, a Vermeer 504 Super 1 Baler sustained about $500 in damage when someone attempted to remove it from a property in the 2100 block between June 5 and June 7.

 About $800 in theft and damage losses were reported following the burglary of a vacant home on Quarry Road.

According to the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office, someone gained entry to the home in the 300 block between June 5 and June 6 and stole about $200 worth of copper wiring and caused about $600 in damage to cabinets in the home.
