Limestone Lodge 117 honors oldest member, Rev. L. C. Knuckles

Worship Master Brian Dawkins of Limestone Lodger No. 117 presented Rev. L.C. Knuckles special awards during a ceremony recently at Shady Grove Baptist Church.
Rev. Knuckles, oldest member of Limestone Lodge No. 117, received a Masonic 50-year pin; a plaque that reads: “In Honor of Long and Distinguished Service to Limestone Lodge No. 117 – May 30, 2010; and a framed rendering of the Masonic Poem, “Brotherhood.” Other members of the lodge worshiped that day at Shady Grove.
Rev. Knuckles joined the lodge around 1950 and has been a member more than 60 years. He has served as the Senior Warden and in other capacities. He completed the requirements for a 32nd Degree Mason in May, 1997.
In 1996, he was awarded a plaque and lifetime membership for his years of dedication and outstanding service.
