Lillian W. Cole

Lillian Wheeler Cole, 92, of 510 Thompson St., died Sunday, June 13, 2010, in Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Jonesville, she was the widow of Victor Cole and daughter of the late George Wheeler and the late Mattie Elsmore Wheeler. She was retired textiles and a Jehovah Witness.

Surviving are two sons, Joseph Cole of Pacolet and James Cole of Gaffney; two daughters, Mary Cole and Carol Hutchins of Gaffney; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Ann Cudd.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, June 17, at 4 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery, conducted by Mr. James Natoli. The family will receive friends at the graveside following the service.

Pallbearers will be J.R. Cudd, Gene Moss, Michael Cudd, Robert Whiten, Bobby Martin and Dale Frazier.

Family members are at their respective homes.
