LAST MINUTE STUMPING
LAST MINUTE STUMPING — Gubernatorial candidate Gresham Barrett made a stop in Gaffney on Friday afternoon, one of many stops on his agenda as he criss-crosses the state looking for last-minute votes for Tuesday's runoff for the Republican nomination for governor. On Friday, Barrett talked with supporters and answered questions about his platform during a lunch stop at Pete's of Gaffney. While his schedule was tight and he had many more places to visit before Tuesday's runoff, Barrett said it was important for him to come to Gaffney. “Everybody wants to see their candidate, touch them and look them in the eyes and know they share the same hopes and dreams,” he said.
