Sanders Bros. gets hit with another lawsuit
Already facing a foreclosure action as a result of its alleged failure to repay millions in bank loans, Gaffney-based Sanders Brothers Inc. was hit with another legal action in Cherokee County Court of Common Pleas for an alleged failure to pay a supplier.
In a lawsuit, American Stainless & Supply contends it has supplied Sanders Brothers Inc., and its various corporate subsidiaries, with various goods or merchandise since 2001.
Sanders Brothers regularly paid for the delivery of the goods until 2009, however, when the suit claims the company ceased to make regular payments. The suit claims the outstanding balance on the company’s account with American Stainless & Supply is $53,718.
In a second cause of action, the lawsuit claims Sanders Construction has failed to pay for $12,307 in goods and merchandise on a separate account since February 2010.
