Technical Sergeant Wayne Brown and Senior Airman Benji Peterson are deployed to Baghdad, Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. “Here are some pictures of us enjoying The Gaffney Ledger in the 120-degree heat,” Brown wrote in an e-mail from Iraq with several pictures attached.

While in Iraq, they are training Iraqi firefighters so those firefighters can take over the Baghdad International Airport. Brown and Peterson are with the 169th Civil Engineering Squadron from McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Columbia.
