Rev. Tim Nugent is pictured with his wife, Penni, (center) and daughter, Jesse. The Rev. Tim Nugent will become pastor of East Gaffney Baptist Church on Sunday, July 11.

Rev. Nugent comes to East Gaffney from Green Sea Baptist Church in Green Sea. Having faithfully served God for over 30 years in ministry, Rev. Nugent has served churches in Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina. He has worked in youth ministry, music ministry and as a senior pastor.

Rev. Nugent graduated from Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, Ky., and Southeastern Baptist Theological, Wake Forest, N.C. He is married to the former Penni Lawson and they have one daughter, Jesse, who will be a freshman at North Greenville University.

There will be a special service on Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m. for the installation of Rev. Nugent along with a pastor-people commitment service.

East Gaffney welcomes everyone to attend the special service and get to know Rev. Nugent and his family.

East Gaffney has Bible Study at 9:45 a.m., morning worship at 11, and evening worship at 6 each Sunday.
