GROVER, N.C. – Teresa Hopper Calvert, 45, of 120 Waterson Road, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Union, she was the wife of Junior Lee Calvert and daughter of Linda Garner Helton of Gaffney and the late Jessie Thomas Hopper Jr. She was employed in the textile industry and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two stepsons, Jamie Lee Calvert and Brian Keith Calvert, both of Grover; four halfbrothers, Timmy Hopper, John Wayne Petty, both of Union, Brian Petty of Pineville, N.C., and Jessie Hopper III of Blacksburg; a sister, Lisa McDowell of Gaffney; two half-sisters, Jessica Hopper of Blacksburg and April Varnadore of Union; and a step-grandchild, Brianna Jasmine Calvert.

No services are scheduled at this time.
