Absentee voting for the August 10 Gaffney City, Blacksburg City, BPW and School Board elections is open in the Voter Registration Office. To be able to vote in this election, you must have been registered to vote in Cherokee County prior to July 10, 2010.

The Voter Registration Office is located at 1434 N. Limestone St. (Peachtree Centre - main entrance, 1st floor). Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. The office will be open Saturday, Aug. 7, from 9 a.m. until noon for absentee voting. Absentee voting will close Monday, Aug. 9, at 5 p.m.
