BURNSIDE The Rev. Danny L. Burnside, Sr. will be honored at his church, Philadelphia Baptist Church, located at 1195 Pacolet Highway in Gaffney, on Sunday, July 18, during the 10 a.m. morning worship service in a ceremony that will bestow his Doctor of Clinical Pastoral Psychology Degree from United Graduate College and Seminiary.

The Ph.D will be presented to him by Dr. Martin Wisor, Senior Bishop Overseer and Founder of United Graduate College and Seminary, located in Jonesborough, Tenn., along with President, Dr. Dorothy Wisor, and Vice President of Academics, Dr. Shermaine Surratt, also of Jonesborough Tenn. Everyone is welcome to fellowship with Philadelphia as it honors and supports its pastor, Dr. Danny L. Burnside, Sr.
