Veronica Denise Weathers, 39, of 940 N. Limestone St., died Thursday, July 15, 2010, in Restorative Care, Spartanburg.

She was born in Cherokee County, the daughter of Samuel Clifton Weathers Jr. of Jersey City, N.J., and Brenda Randall of Gaffney.

Also surviving are two sons, Qwaman Q. Weathers and Darian Weathers, both of Gaffney; three sisters, Babetta Weathers of Gaffney, Tracy Weathers of Blacksburg and Samantha Weathers of Jersey City; two brothers, Fred Meeks (Marissa) of Shelby and Les Davis of Charlotte; aunts and uncles, Alzenia Lockhart (Theodore Jr.), Roy Weathers (Polly) of Blacksburg; Almaree Elmore of Gaffney; Robert Weathers of Jersey City; Angela Govnor, Sandra Randall, Samuel Randall Jr., all of Macon, Ga.

She was preceded in death by a son, Darius A. Weathers.

Services will be Thursday, July 22, at 3 p.m. at Divine True Holiness Church of God with Bishop Eddie Lockhart and Overseer Theodore Lockhart officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:30-3 p.m. at the church.

The family is at the home of Theodore and Alzenia Lockhart, 109 Bell St., Blacksburg, and Babette Weathers, T-88 Limestone Courts, Gaffney.
