Thickety Mountain YWA recognizes ‘Walking Doll’ contestants at spring program
Participating in the 2010 Walking Doll pageant were (l-r) Jada Symone White, Alisa Wray, Tashyla Ellise Miller, Skyla Grace Phillips (second runner-up), Myica Michell Knuckles (2010 Little Miss Walking Doll), Ellyson Michaela Tate (first runner-up), Te'kora Arieal Littlejohn and Nevaeh Dierra Wynn.
Participants in the Thickety Mountain Young Women's Auxiliary 2010 Walking Doll were recognized at the YWA’s spring bi-annual service program.
Each of the participants, representatives of churches of the Thickety Mountain Baptist Association, received a personalized trophy and gift cards at the pageant. The Little Miss Walking Doll winner and runners up rode in the recent S.C. Peach Festival parade.
Participating in the pageant were:
Jada Symone White, daughter of Deacon and Mrs. Corey White of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was escorted by Simon Stradford.
Alisa Wray, daughter of Alissa Wray of Youngs Grove Baptist Church. She was escorted by Jaylan Austin.
Tashyla Ellise Miller, daughter of Melody Miller of Island Creek Baptist Church. She was escorted by Travion West.
Skyla Grace Phillips (second runner-up), daughter of Al and Hyacinth Phillips of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was escorted by Jermaine Greene.
Myica Michell Knuckles (2010 Little Miss Walking Doll), daughter of Asherla Bonner and Mike Knuckles, representing Bethel Baptist Church. She was escorted by Kakhi Brown.
Ellyson Michaela Tate (first runner up), daughter of Samantha Littlejohn and Darrell Tate Jr., representing Limestone Baptist Church. She was escorted by Tyler Jordan Smith.
Te’kora Arieal Littlejohn, daughter of Katina Littlejohn and Anthony Giles, representing Gowdysville Baptist Church. She was escorted by Isaiah Anderson.
Nevaeh Dierra Wynn, daughter of Douglas Wynn of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Funds raised from the pageant will be used for the YWA mission: “to promote missions, evangelism, Christian education, benevolence, and stewardship within the association.”
