Betty Lucille Love Robertson, 80, of 822 N. Logan St., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Born in Gaffney, she was the wife of Lawrence Leroy Robertson and daughter of the late Arthur Love and Lizzie Mullinax Love. Mrs. Robertson was a homemaker and a member of Faith Baptist Church in Shelby, N.C.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are four sons, Lawrence Edward Robertson and wife, Sharon, of Lenoir, N.C., Jimmy Dean Robertson and wife, Charlene, of Gaffney, Jeffrey Lee Robertson of Gaffney and Thomas Wayne Robertson and wife, Danielle. of Gaffney; a daughter, Peggy Lipsey and husband, Levon, of Gaffney; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Robertson of Gaffney; four brothers, Dean Love and wife, Ella, Mae, Victor Love, Fletcher Love and wife, Patricia, all of Gaffney, and Eugene Love of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a sister, Sue Green and husband, Douglas, of Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Craig Steven Robertson and Ricky Lynn Robertson; a daughter, Rebecca Jane Robertson; a brother, Kelly Love; and a sister, Mary Gaffney.

Services will be held Friday, July 30, at 3 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Shelby with Dr. Barry Goodman and the Rev. Johnny Owens officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Frederick Cole, Matthew Robertson, Shane Robertson, J.J. Robertson Jr., John Duvall and Jacob Mullinax.

Visitation was Thursday, July 29, from 6-8 p.m. at Blakely Funeral Home.
