MOW HOSTS ANNUAL LUAU ON AUG. 28 – Cherokee County Meals on Wheels will host is second annual luau on Saturday, Aug. 28, beginning at 7 p.m. at Broad River Electric Auditorium. Music will be provided by Blax Station and Whitney Bowe give free line dancing lessons from 7-8 p.m. Reserved table sponsors are $200. Couples are $45 and single tickets are $25. The Meals on Wheels Board of Directors will be providing heavy hors d'oeuvres and door prizes will be given away throughout the evening. Tickets are available at Meals on Wheels, 403 W.
