Shane McDaniel and Summer Vinesett Harold and Judy Vinesett of Gaffney announce the engagement of their daughter, Summer, to Shane McDaniel of Gaffney.

Miss Vinesett is the granddaughter of Mary Jo Arrowood and Ella Vinesett, both of Gaffney, the late Carlie Arrowood and the late John “Jay” Vinesett. She is employed by CVS Pharmacy.

Mr. McDaniel is the son of Jane Wilkins of Gaffney and Mike and Kay McDaniel of Gaffney. His grandparents are Jack and Gladys Byars of Gaffney. Gladys Byars of Gaffney. He is owner and operator of McDaniel’s Landscaping.

The wedding is planned for October 13 in Key West, Fla.
