Dear Cody:

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to you and your staff at The Gaffney Ledger.

Without our network of support, all of this would not have been possible. Over the years we feel we have brought to Gaffney a higher standard of excellence in childcare. We set the bar high when we opened and have surpassed our goals. Throughout the years we have formed partnerships with Cherokee County First Steps and other childcare facilities in town.

As we celebrate our 10th anniversary at Crayons 2 Computers, we wanted to let you know how we have grown and our plans for the upcoming months. We started out with 10 children and now we exceed 100. About five years ago we expanded and opened our infant room. We have received numerous grants from First Steps over the years that have enhanced our playground and also allowed us to set up an outdoor science classroom. This summer we received a $7,500 grant from DSS where we have purchased educational materials for all age groups from infants to afterschool. In honor of our 10th anniversary we purchased a new sign for the front of the building.

The Gaffney Ledger has always supported us in any event we were attending or sponsoring. As we push forward to the future we wanted to express our gratitude to you and the community for allowing us to remain a part of your lives. In the fall, we are planning an open house for all our friends, past and present, at Crayons 2 Computers. We will keep you posted on the date and hope to see you there.
