READERS ON THE ROAD
Staff Sgt. Jessica Spencer serves in the U.S. Air Force and is currently deployed in Iraq working as a flight medic for F-16 fighter pilots, two of whom are pictured here with her. Several members of the Lambda Rho Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority recently reviewed The Gaffney Ledger while they attended their National Convention in St. Louis, Mo. The service organization awards educational scholarships to high school seniors annually. Members in attendance included local president Rhonda Young (seated), Bertha Harris, Bobbie Jefferies, Blanche Talley, Rachel Edwards and Nicole Pau. 
Van Walker, Devan, Chris, Jordan, Cheska and Peyton Robbins took The Ledger with them on a recent vacation to Myrtle Beach. Also pictured is Roger” the turtle. “Roger” has been on every vacation with the family for the past three years.
