SNIPES Malena Snipes, RN, has been promoted to clinical nurse manager at the Advanced Healing Wound Center, a service of Upstate Carolina Medical Center.

Snipes is responsible for all clinical aspects of the center, including providing continuity of care for patients, integrating new therapies into care, training new personnel and ensuring quality of care.

A Blacksburg resident, Snipes most recently served as case manager at Advanced Healing.

Advanced Healing Wound Center specializes in the treatment of chronic wounds and nonresponsive conditions and offers hospital-based outpatient wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
