2010 BHS graduate named Mid-State Region FYA Star

CLEMSON – Adam Love of Blacksburg, a 2010 graduate of Blacksburg High School, was recognized as the Mid- State Region FFA Star in Agribusiness during the recent state FFA convention at Clemson University, according to John W. Parris, state director of public affairs with the S.C. FFA organization.
“The FFA Star in Agribusiness Award is designed to spotlight the outstanding FFA member in each of four regions in the state who excels in developing a successful agribusiness while enrolled in Agricultural Education courses in high school,” Parris said.
Love is the son of Lori Gunn and Greg Love of Blacksburg. His FFA advisor is William Parker, Agricultural Education instructor at BHS
The mission of the FFA is to make a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through Agricultural Education.
