READERS ON THE ROAD
Wesley Parker of Blacksburg recently visited Clemson to meet the football players. He is shown here with former GHS standout Joe Craig Jr., who is now playing for Clemson as wide receiver and punt returner. Jackie, Jena and Jade Alford went to Washington State this summer and while they were there they had breakfast at Beth's Cafe in Seattle, which is famous for its 12-egg omelet breakfast. After eating breakfast at Beth's, they didn't eat lunch or dinner. The breakfast no matter what you ordered) was HUGE. The walls were covered with notebook paper the customers had “doodled” on while waiting for their meals. 
Stephanie Turner, Beverly and Ken Blackwell took The Ledger with them on a recent vacation to Pigeon Forge, Tenn., where they visited the newly opened Titanic Museum. Also pictured is an officer from the Titanic Museum.
